The exhibition "Rankhilfe und Formschnitt" (Trellis & Topiary) by Malwin Faber is not only a show of recent works, but a total work of art. The Hamburg-based artist (born in 1990) transforms his art into a theatrical staging, integrating the exhibition space as an essential part of the artwork. Out of the abstract pictorial worlds, pictorial elements and objects are objectified and are reminiscent of plants or a garden architecture. With the exhibition title, Faber addresses the relationship between man and nature and his interventions in it.
